Hello and welcome to Warriors: Code of Narcissus. I'm Kuri, the owner of the site. Many thanks to our two admins, Caraway and Comet, for helping me with pretty much everything so far! Warriors: CoN is not quite finished yet; but I hope to have it 100% done and ready to roleplay before the end of this week.

the code of Narcissus

x

Moons ago, before the great clan split into four, a female was banished from their reaches. Her name was Daffodilpool. She was banished for murdering an apprentice; though she was always claimed that she had never done this. Her story was different. Daffodilpool claimed that, while hunting, she had discovered her sister Laburnumheart at the scene of the crime. Daffodilpool was the unfortunate cat discovered over the apprentice's body after Laburnumheart fled. Due to this, she was outcast. Daffodilpool followed the clan for moons, but eventually they drove her away with such a beating that she became crippled, her hind legs useless and lame. Daffodilpool turned in on herself, her kind nature gone. She became twisted and mad with revenge, changing her name to simply Daffodil to expel herself from the clans that hated her so terribly. Daffodil lived alone in an isolated cave, eating only the bats which she caught in its reaches. The clans began to dub her Narcissus, only a darker version of her former name. Tales surrounded the she-cat, which she fed with twisted vigour.

Some moons later, two reckless apprentices ventured into the cave of Narcissus. Mintpaw and Fleetpaw discovered something which daffled them. The mouth of the cave, after several pawsteps, was sealed by rock. Strange markings surrounded the blockage, markings that looked like sets of pawprints yet... Different. Now danger threatens the clans, and in their isolated land the cave of Narcissus is their only escape route. Can they crack the code before it's too late?

Kuri;
Okay, all the leaders are taken! Now, may all the leaders post deputy and medicine cat auditions? I'm going to start advertising and affiliating with some other sites now, so we should have more members soon! ;D

Comet;
Everyone should help in advertising and affiliating. That way, Warriors: Code of Narcissus can have a nice kick-off to its plot.

[ ]PaleClan Camp (8 sub-boards)
The PaleClan camp. A calm, serene sort of place. The clearing would be circular, but for the curved extension which shapes it like a teardrop. A small lake is the centerpiece of this camp, big enough to provide a water source, but not large enough for fish. It is due to this lake, Dew Lake, that the cats of PaleClan can swim so skillfully. In the centre of the lake is a rounded boulder covered in moss. This is the RoundStone, where the PaleClan leader stands to address their clan. The dens of the PaleClan camp are dips in the sandy earth, sheltered by thick beds of reeds.

[ ]PaleClan Territories (4 sub-boards)
Wherever you go in PaleClan's territory, the burbling of the river can be heard. It runs swift and true from Dew Lake through the territory like a silver scar. The trees here are mostly willow or spindly aspen, but the thicker forest is oak and spruce. It is a very peaceful place. Birds, fish and woodland animals are the main prey here.

[ ]IndigoClan Camp (8 sub-boards)
This camp is a rough circle, ringed heavily in pines. This gives the light a dark, blueish tinge to it, casting indigo shadows onto the grass. This is what gives IndigoClan their name. The camp is fairly simple; fern bush dens and a bramble-thicket nursery. A space, shielded by a rotting log, is where the medicine cat makes their den. At one end of the camp, a large, jagged boulder of flint rests. This is where the IndigoClan leader addresses their clan. A hollow in its side makes the leaders' den.

[ ]IndigoClan Territories (4 sub-boards)
It is not a surprise that even the land surrounding the IndigoClan camp is rather dark and dreary; full of the same pines that ring the camp. The ground is almost always covered in fallen pine needles. Between the many trees are twisting dirt trails, made many years ago by countless paw steps. IndigoClanners barely ever have trouble with loners, who much prefer the open space of PaleClan and FrostClan to this labyrinth of pathways. Voles and mice reside here, but one may be lucky enough to catch a blue jay or a cardinal.

[ ]FrostClan Camp (8 sub-boards)
A simple, oval-shaped dip in the ground is where FrostClan makes their home. Rolling hills surround the camp, making it fairly hard to find unless you are looking for it in particular. The lack of cover is what gave FrostClan their name, because in winter almost everywhere you look is covered in frost. The fact that this Clan is one of the most aggressive helped with the name, too. In summer the ground is nice and grassy, perfect for play-fighting kits. A large, smooth rock in the center of camp is where the leader makes their speeches; the medicine den is in a thicket of bramble nearby.

[ ]FrostClan Territory (4 sub-boards)
This expanse of dipping hills and trees is filled with traps (like murky bogs, sharp rocks, and dark gorse bushes) that only FrostClanners can navigate. Prey is plenty here, if you are as clever as they are... However, not all of territory is nasty.

[ ]SageClan Camp (8 sub-boards)
In the deepest part of the oak forest lies the SageClan camp. A small, almost rectangular clearing with trees all around was the only place SageClan could find to settle so many moons ago. However, they have managed well - ferns make up the dens, and a large, ancient treestump at the edge of camp is where the Clan meetings are held. The camp is very well hidden, but unfortunately the strong smell of SageClan gives away the location.

[ ]SageClan Territories (4 sub-boards)
SageClan cats live in the densest part of the woods, maybe not as packed as IndigoClan's forest but with considerably more undergrowth. Also, SageClanners hunt below oak trees and some maple trees; not very many fir trees are to be found here. You have to be a very good stalker to survive on SageClan hunting grounds. Unfortunately, the shadowy forests that still happen to be easy to navigate seems to attract many rouges and loners, so SageClan borders must be checked daily.

[ ]Moonrise Hill
When the full moon rises, it seems to come right out of this hill, peeking behind it as soon as twilight comes. This is where the Clans meet as a tribute to both themselves and their ancestors every full moon. Perhaps it is just luck that such a beautiful place is found in just the center of the Clan's territories. Perhaps it's destiny. A large rock towers on top of the hill.

[ ]Rogue's Plateau
The Rogue's Plateau is, at the name suggests, a large expanse of rocky ground with very little trees, although tufts of ferns and grass can be found here. If you travel north-east from here it won't be long until you reach the sheer cliffside where the one they call Narcissus made her home. Rogues pass through here all the time; some even live in these barren grounds.

[ ]Chimera Oasis
This beautiful lake is called chimera because it seems too good to be true. Moons ago rogues fought over this place, until they realized that the lush, forest-covered ground around the lake was big enough to share. Still, fights break out here often for smaller pieces of land. When the Clans came to the forest, this area was already occupied by hostile rogues - and besides, the Oasis is much to small to hold four whole Clans of cats.

[ ]Narcissus' Cave
Narcissus' Cave is a dark enough place to give even the bravest of cats a feel of dread, for as soon as you step inside a cold feeling washes over you. No one can tell if the cave is still inhabited or not, for it is blocked by a huge, unnatural slab of stone after only a tail-length or so. Even stranger are the markings seemingly carved into the rock, spelling out an incomprehensable code...

[ ]Deepstone Drive
Calendula Drive is a long, narrow street just out of PaleClan's territory. Many kittypets live here and are drawn out of their homes by the calm, serene forest - but their in for a big surprise when a PaleClan patrol comes along! However, most of the soft kittypets who live here tend to stay in their gardens fairly often.

[ ]Cattail Pond
Just outside of PaleClan's territory is a small, man-made pond. The rocks that ring the pond are unnaturally smooth and square. In the water swim many goldfish that the kittypets try to catch, and if you do manage to hook one you will be respected for moons to come. Cattails poke out of the water and lilypads are abundance. This is a very beautiful place.
Moderator: Kuri xx

[ ]Abandoned House
At the very end of Calendula Drive lies an abandoned Twoleg house. Some kittypets work out a way to get inside the creepy old house, most are content with the already spooky and overgrown garden.
